Whew, what a weekend.

Boy are we glad the weekend is over and Mom and Dad went to work so we can finally get some good napping in. Our grandmacat and auntcat came and brought some stuff. They brought us a new dining room table and 6 chairs. Well, they certainly didn't smell like us so we had to do a lot of rubbing. Then they took our mom and went shopping for baby stuff. They brought home this stroller and we thought for sure it was for us but it wasn't. And the extra room that will be the baby's room got opened up and we got to play in there. Dad went to check on us and we were chasing a bat. A real live bat. Mom and dad made us leave the room and they tried to get it but it went back into the attic. We have no idea where it went or why it was there. Mom was freaking a little bit about us chasing a bat and that it was just kinda trying to flop on the floor. We never bite things though so its not a big deal. Once, we had a mouse in our house and we did nothing but follow it around. We are just exhausted after this weekend. It was very nice out and still will be in the 50's until tomorrow. We hope all the snow melts and the mud goes away so we can go out without getting dirty. We are purring for all the cats and humans in Australia and hope they are all safe and sound.

Oh wow!! We've never seen a real live bat before. That had to have been very exciting for you guys. No wonder you need some good napping!
Yay for the 50 degree weather!

We hope the bat didn't bite you! Have you had your Rabies shots?

Our Meowmie agrees wif Tristan. If you haven't had a rabies shot you should get one. We just had a human die here in Missouri from getting bit by a rabid bat.

After all of that, we hope you can get some rest!

Oh my! Be very careful! Bat bites often can't be felt but they can be carrying rabies!!! Don't mean to cause fear, but do be very careful! *purrs*

We had a bat in the house one time...
but that was before we moved in with our family. We've heard them talk about it...wish we could've been there.

We have an award for you...pick it up anytime at our blog.

Happy Saturday!
