Wordy Wednesday

Mom still has the cold stuff. She's surviving though. We are starting to get closer in hopes that if we lay on her it will make her feel all better. Bad part is when we try to lay on her something kicks us. Mom and Dad say that it is our babycat. If its kicking us now, what will we do when it gets here. We mentioned a few weeks ago about a dandruff problem we were having. We also mentioned we got a smorgasbord of new foods to try. It is dry here in the winter months so it is common for us to get some dandruff, but we were really bad. We have a humidifier running in the bedroom so that helps too. Our Mom and Dad are also concerned with all the by-products and junk in our foods as well. The problem is, we are picky. We refuse to give up our dry fancy feast we get upstairs every few nights as a treat. Of course our stinky goodness is a different story. We don't like the same thing for very long and all these foods mom and dad would prefer we eat because of what is in them is not as good as fancy feast and wholesome goodness and market selects. We hope our new friend Jerusalem Jones reads this because they were looking for other foods too.

This stuff is tasty. We like the wet food too. It said it is made from wholesome ingredients but whole ground corn is the 1st ingredient. This stuff was also pretty tasty. It is just an indoor recipe. The problem is that it is in little pebbles and we don't chew them, we swallow them. Not sure how good that will be for tartar buildup. We have a toothbrush, but we don't like it too much.
This is tasty too, but has corn gluten meal. This is our winner as Patches is showing. This is spa select for sensitive skin. Since starting on this, our dandruff has gotten so much better along with their fur being silky smooth.

What do other cats on the blogosphere eat? We are curious if there is something else out there to try that might be tasty. We like trying new things.

We eat Purina One for Sensitive Systems, because we have a puke problem. We also split a can of Friskies Ocean Whitefish and Tuna, each day. Our Mama mixes in Cosequin with the wet food, because Tristan has something called Arthur Eye Tuss. We also get treats at night. That's why Crikey is so fat.

The great food debate! Wow, you have a stockpile of foods like we do! At the moment all of us except Cal and Rambler, are eating canned EVO for breakfast and dry California Natural Chicken and Rice for supper. Rambler eats canned and dry EVO. Cal hardly eats anything and that's why we have our stockpile because he can't quite decide what he likes. We have tried both Halo and Blue Spa, both are great foods with great ingredients!! We just couldn't all agree on them.

Mom doesn't like to feed us grains so we get Wellness canned and Ernie gets Natural Balance venison and peas canned (cuz he has allergies) and we all get IVD venison and peas dry...we love our foods!!!

Wellness is also a really good food that we eat on occasion. When we buy EVO from our local pet shop, it's $1.69 per 13.2 oz can. We divide one large can between 5 of us in the morning, so it does go a long way. I think the cheapest we have found it is $20.99for (12) 13.2 oz cans, the shipping is what can get pretty costly. I recommend googling 'petfooddirect.com coupons' or which ever online store you choose and see if there are any coupon codes for shipping or discounts. Good luck you guys!!!
