Some crazy things have happened around here. Remember when we had a bat? Well, we have had 2 more bath instances in the last 2 weeks. Maybe it was the same bat, who knows? The first time baby Owen had woken up and wouldn't go back to sleep at 5 in the morning so we went downstairs. Mom thought she saw something fly by and we ran after it. Mom grabbed Owen and we all got locked upstairs until Dad caught it. Then, a week later Mom was sleeping and it was 4AM and she heard something funny and thought it was the fan. She opened her eyes and there was a bit flying around. We all hid in Owen's room and he didn't even wake up. We think we got all the bat places sealed up, we hope. You can imagine all the excitement. We just have been too tired to post.

Be careful! I heard that sometimes bats can carry ray-bees!
We wouldn't like bats in the house! We hope they don't come back ever!
Do you have a belfry on your house? Icky having bats in your house.
Could you have bats in the loft? We like bats a lot.
We jump up at them as they flyover the garden on summer evenings.
I wish they'd come inside, would be much easier to catch.

We had a bat 2 weeks ago too! Hedy and Hoppper did not quite know what what to do with it. They cornered quite effectively in the bathroom corner. It was sitting on the toilet brush when daddy quite effectively managed to take it outside!

Happy purrfday Nemo. We have bats that fly around outdoors and I have caught two and brought in for mum. The first time, I put it beside her chair at the dinner table and she nearly stood on it before she saw it. I can't understand why she doesn't like the presents I bring her!
